BESA Club Rules

The club grounds are restricted to members only. Your membership card must be in your possession when on the club grounds. Your club button must be visible. All members 15 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or adult member.

Firing Range:

RULES & REGULATIONS OF THE SHOOTING RANGE

 

1. No shooting allowed on Sundays prior to 12:00 noon, range is closed on Easter Sunday.

2. Range use limited to members only. No spectators or guests!!!

3. Unsportsmanlike conduct will result in indefinite expulsion from club grounds.

4. Shooting to be done at proper targets only, no shooting at random, bottles, tin cans, or trees.

5. Membership card to be displayed when on club grounds.

6. If range is full, a time limit of ½ hour will be in effect to allow equal use of the range to members.

7. ABSOLUTELY no one is allowed down range when firing begins. All weapons are to be empty with actions broken when targets are retrieved.

8. Shooting at targets at shorter distances will be allowed provided ranges are not full and a time limit of 1/2 hour is to be observed.

9. Junior members will observe all rules and regulations equal to adult members and must be accompanied by an adult.

10. ABSOLUTELY no alcohol or illegal drugs allowed on club shooting ranges at any time.

11. No Littering. Trash receptacles are provided. Please use them and help keep your club clean. Brass pail is provided.

12. Targets are to be hung on rubber material. DO NOT SHOOT AT WOOD OR METAL SUPPORTS

13. No shooting when contest or club activities are in function.
